50mL TRACE METALS DIGESTION VESSEL WITH CAPS

BW-DC-50-B (blue cap), BW-DC-50-N (natural cap)

1 case contains 750 cups and caps, bagged separately.

Clean by Design:

  • Designed to be the best disposable digestion vessels on the market. Molded with select virgin polypropylene and verified for ultra-low leachable metals.
  • We test our digestion vessel using ICP-MS and an aggressive, heated acidic leach method to ensure they are appropriate for even the most stringent, low-level trace metals analysis.
  • Produced and packed in an ISO 9001-2015 accredited facility with processes subject to stringent controls, in ISO class 8 conditions.

Accuracy Built In:

  • The accuracy of all volume graduation lines has been verified by ASTM Standard E542-22.
  • The volume accuracy of all graduations exceeds Class A tolerance specifications for volumetric labware presented in ASTM E1272-02 (+/- 0.25 mL).
  • Analytical balances used to verify the calibration of volume gradations are certified yearly by a third party and verified with standard masses traceable to NIST.

Additional Benefits

  • Save time, cost, and effort by eliminating the need for digestion beakers, graduated cylinders, volumetric flasks, autosampler tubes, and storage containers with the use of this product.
  • Our ultra flat bottom vessels ensure faster sample temperature response times.
  • For use with all 50ml hot-block systems

Statement of Quality and Calibration

Calibration & Volume Accuracy

The accuracy of all volume graduation lines has been verified by ASTM Standard E542-22 for representative digestion vessel samples. The volume accuracy of all graduations exceeds Class A tolerance specifications for volumetric labware presented in ASTM E1272-02 (+/- 0.25 mL). Analytical balances used to verify the calibration of volume gradations are certified yearly by a third party and verified with standard masses traceable to NIST.

Quality & Metals Background

Our digestion tubes are manufactured using polypropylene selected for trace metals analysis. It is important to note that leachable content from plastic will vary and depends upon several factors including specific reagents used, temperature and time of leach.

We test our digestion tubes using ICP-MS and an aggressive, heated acidic leach method to ensure they are appropriate for even the most stringent, low-level trace metals analysis. Our production facility is accredited and holds ISO 9001-2015 certification. Our processes are subject to stringent controls and our products are produced and packaged in an ISO class 8 room.

We strongly recommend that each lab perform blank analysis of these digestion tubes to ensure they are appropriate for your specific analysis. Care should be taken in storage and handling to prevent background contamination.
